Mid-Year Appeal

The Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation (SBTHP) provides a range of educational programs that serve thousands of young people in Santa Barbara County, annually.  These programs complement classroom learning and help students reach State academic content standards. Hands-on, student-centered programs that include interactions with diverse community members distinguish our programs as memorable and essential experiences for local youth. We provide access to cross-cultural experiences, empower students to find their place in their community, and build empathy for the human experience.

At SBTHP, school programs are always free and over 50% of the schools we serve are Title 1. Our Cultural Activities & Adventures (CASA) Camp is a free program available only to youth who are residents of City of Santa Barbara Housing Authority properties. Our third-grade program, Our Community Our Stories, and seventh grade program, Where We Are From grow in popularity annually.

In order to continue providing these impactful free services, we need your help. Please consider making a gift today. Thank you in advance for your support!
