On Thursday September 5, SBTHP celebrated the opening of a new exhibit at Casa de la Guerra, “Secrets of the Gaviota Coast.” The dozen beautiful black and white photos by Shaw Leonard of this pristine section of coastline are production stills from an upcoming documentary called Gaviota, the End of Southern California. It’s there, fully recreated in the exhibit, and it is stunning.

This is our second collaboration with local photographers who capture the beauty of this special coastline. Two years ago we displayed the photography of Reeve Woolpert, an excellent artist and all around nice guy. You can learn more about Reeve’s work here. We were pleased to see Reeve early on opening night of “Secrets of the Gaviota,” congratulating Shaw on his show.
